1. How to Track My Shipment

Most drivers work for independent, small shipping companies with one or two employees. They will contact you directly to let you know their timeline and when to expect them.

Unlike large shipping companies, most blanket wrap shippers do not use tracking numbers. They communicate by telephone and email instead.

We ask that drivers reach out at least 24 hours prior to delivery to coordinate with you.

2. Delivery Procedures

Drivers can only deliver the furniture to your door. They are not responsible for moving it inside your building or home. This is also called "threshold delivery."

Please make sure you will be able to handle the piece beyond this point.

3. Timing and Scheduling

Small independent shipping companies are generally more flexible with their schedules than larger companies, like UPS and FedEx. This means that your delivery may fall outside of the usual Monday - Friday | 9am - 5pm time frame.

If you have a preference for timing, please let us know so we can help the delivery arrive at an acceptable time.

4. What Drivers Cannot Do

Your driver is not responsible for helping you install, set up, or work on your furniture. So please do not ask them.

What is a Blanket Wrap Delivery?

All deliveries are blanket wrap deliveries, meaning your furniture will come to you without a pallet and wooden crate (like traditional furniture deliveries).

Instead of being delivered in a semi truck, your blanket wrap delivery will come from the manufacturer or gallery in a single vehicle (typically a cargo van). This delivery method is much more convenient, and it protects your purchase from damage that could occur during transport.

Your piece will be wrapped in a blanket and protected. When it arrives, you will simply have to remove the protective material, which is usually a combination of cardboard and plastic wrap.

Why Use Blanket Wrap Delivery?

Traditional shipping is a long and complicated process. Even short trips require multiple pick-ups and drop-offs, vehicle changes, loading and unloading, etc.

This can often lead to damaged merchandise, lost shipments, and other problems for products that are delicate or require extra care.

With blanket wrap deliveries, you typically have one vehicle and driver, which makes the logistics of loading and unloading much simpler.

Additionally, blanket wrap shipping is a more convenient option for timing and locations that are not easily accessible for large trucks.

Finally, the hassle of dealing with large, cumbersome wooden packaging is eliminated with blanket wrap shipping.
